This Unit is about approaches to planning and time management techniques. The student will find out the difference between a project plan and the process of planning, what kind of failures can be caused by bad planning and learn some real-life examples from the case studies.

The Unit includes 2 basic lessons, 2 case studies, and a choice of 2 Revise & Check lessons,depending on the skill the student would like to focus on:
Grammar: Conditional I, time and concession clauses, modal verbs for suggestions
Functional language use: stating aims, making suggestions, negotiating conditions/deadlines, responding to suggestions, creating solutions
In this Unit, you will dig into reasons for missing deadlines and find out how to negotiate timing with colleagues and partners. Together with the student, you will discuss an article on the Eisenhower matrix and the email structure. In the case study lessons, you will practice project communication and prioritizing tasks by solving a business case of Vkusvill on time management.
The Unit includes 2 basic lessons, 1 case study and 1 role-play lesson, a self-study lesson and a choice of 2 Revise & Check lessons, depending on the skill the student would like to focus on:

In this Unit, the student will learn how to deal with project changes, the ways to manage them and solutions for formal and informal emails. The case study (lesson 3) is about Mergers & Acquisitions, ERP implementation and negotiating the allocation of resources with stakeholders. In the role-play, the student will put himself in the project manager’s shoes and take part in project negotiations.
